Labor Day Service at Central Park 2014

Wonderful weather greeted everyone from five churches for the Labor Day Service in the Park.

Prelude — The prelude was beautifully performed by two violins and cello.

Opening hymn — The morning brought us wonderful weather for the opening hymn.

Singing — Leading five separate churches in 2-part round singing… impressive.

Church bike-in!

Greeting — The challenge: shake the hand of at least one member from each church.

Children's moment — During children’s time hydrangeas sever as the metaphor for all the churches coming together – different but having the same source.

Sermon — Justice was the topic of the sermon delivered by the Methodist minister.

Breaking bread — Matt breaks the bread for everyone.

Sharing a hymn — Sharing a hymn together.
